The Fifa World cup round of sixteen has been amazing thus far with extra time, penalty kicks and a lot of friendly rivalry. We have had some spectacular goals and great plays. The United States of America will play Belgium tomorrow at 4pm and we are all rooting for the USA to continue their great run thus far in the tournament. Dempsey has played fantastically and along with a great performance from the rest of the squad the United States Of America can make it to the quarterfinals with a win.

USA USA USA
Thursday is a huge game for Team USA in this years Fifa world cup. USA has played with much intensity and heart but were unable to keep the lead against the Ronaldo led Portugal. They did however comeback to tie that game up and eventually took the lead. Although it seemed that the USA should have been able to take the win, Ronaldo gave a beautiful cross which led to the header in the ninety fifth minute causing the tie. The USA played brilliantly but the game seemed to be just thirty seconds too long. The USA still holds their hands in their own destiny. USA win and their in against Germany, or even a draw would qualify them into the round of sixteen. We are faithful that the US will make it out of the group of death and make us americans proud.

Cheesequake State Park in Old Bridge New Jersey
Cheesequake State Park is located in Old Bridge Township, and covers 1,274 acres. It has been open since 1940. The name Cheesequake is derived from a Lenape Native American word meaning “upland village.” 
This park is unique because it’s located in a transitional zone between two different ecosystems. The geographical characteristics of this park include open fields, saltwater and freshwater marshes, white cedar swamp, pine barrens, and a hardwood forest. Walking the trails in the park it is interesting to see the vegetation change from coastal salt marsh habitat to upland forests and the diversity of plant species and habitats typical of both Northern and Southern New Jersey.
The park has four marked loop trails which are for hiking only. These trails start at the Interpretive Center and range in length from .7 miles to 2.9 miles. There is also a 2.7 mile multi-use trail which is open to hikers, bicyclists and cross country skiers.
At the park’s nature center you will learn about it’s history, as well as the diversity of flora and fauna from both the northern and southern ecosystems. There are so many things to do at this park, including hiking, camping, swimming, fishing, crabbing, canoeing or kayaking. The winter months bring opportunities for sledding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

World cup Dramatics
What a finish in tonights USA vs Ghanna Game. United States started off the world cup with a flying start scoring within the first minute of play. Demsey had a spectacular play with a give and go which led the ball into the net. Ghanna played extremely hard and finally made a break through during the eighty first minute. When that happened it seemed that USA would fall to a tie against Ghanna but in the eighty sixth Minute Brooks came in with a beautiful header which put USA up one goal. It was an extremely excellent finish and a great way for the USA to start the World Cup. We wish that their is continuous success in this world cup.
