The holiday season again is in full swing in New York City. The storefronts are decorated for Christmas. Lots of people have started to visit New York in holiday spirit already
here are the activities that you could enjoy in New York in November
If you are a sports fan, New York gives you choices to watch the games. You have an option to watch Football, Basketball, or Ice Hockey. With more than one team in each sport, you are sure to find what you like. Watch Giants or Jets in football. Watch Knicks or Nets in Basketball. When it comes to Ice Hockey, watch New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils or New York Islanders.Broadway Shows
Radio City Music Hall starts its famous Christmas spectacular show on November the 9th. Every year thousands and thousands of people watch the show during the holiday season. The Christmas spectacular now has become an integral part of New York Christmas.
The view of New York City is breathtaking from the water. Just head to the pier on the west side and take a dinner cruise. The Cruise will guide you in the evening time around manhattan. The view of the island from the boat is just amazing. You could enjoy a nice dinner, with wine or champagne. Take lots of pictures and make memories of your trip to New York City.
There are about 12 concerts in New York City in November. Some of the artists performing are Sir Elton John, Billy Joel, for young crowd Arianna Grande, Marc Anthony, and more. When you need a ride to get to the concert chose American city Express, we will take you there in style and comfort.Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
My favorite event in New York City in November is Macy’s thanksgiving day parade. The ParadeParade features performers, and Balloons thru out the route. This year ParadeParade will feature Astronaut Snoopy, Spiderman, Smokey bear, Sponge Bob and Gary, Chase from Paw Patrol, Diary of wimpy kid, Goku, giant ice cream cone, Olaf from Frozen, Pikachu, Pillsbury Doughboy, power ranger and many more. If you do not have any plans on thanksgiving morning, take a train to Madison Square Garden and enjoy the ParadeParade. Please remember to dress up warmly, have your hats and gloves, and have your cell phones ready to take a selfie with the Spiderman Balloon.
New York City is well known for its street foods. Try the Pretzels and hot dogs from the carts. My favorite is a cart that sells Chicken and rice at the corner of 53rd street and 6th avenue, right across the Hilton midtown hotel. The place is effortless to recognize, it has Yellow signs, and you will see a long line for hungry people waiting to get their delicious $6 dinner.
New York City is a tough place to navigate, with lots of closure around holiday time. Gridlock streets and long wait at the tunnels and Bridges are very common. If you like to enjoy the city and make memories out of your trip, leave the driving to the professionals. We at American City Express should be your choice of transportation for car service from Newark airport to New York City.
