Fantastic Closing

What a phenomenal game five in Indiana yesterday. We had the defending champions the Miami Heat looking to close the series and head to the championship when they took on the Indiana Pacers at Indiana. The Heat being  up three games to one were looking to finish strong and get some much needed rest before the championship round but Indiana had other ideas. During the game the Heat seemed to have control and looked dominant especially in the first half. Although Lebron James was in foul trouble the Heat were still up ten points at half time. But the Pacers would rally to take the lead behind Lance Stephenson and Paul George. The Pacers than led the Heat by eleven points but the Champions would not go down without a fight. The Heat rallied back to only be down three points and than tied the game with less than a minute to play. But in the end the Pacers prevailed behind a twenty one point quarter by Paul George. It was a fantastic finish and continuous excitement within these playoffs. For highlights watch nba.com

Brooklyn Bounce back?

How will Brooklyn Bounce back tonight against the reigning defending champions in a win or go home scenario. Miami won a tight game Monday Night led by Lebron James’s historic performance. Lebron James scored an unbelievable forty nine points monday night and led his team to victory.  He was practically unstoppable from all locations of the court hitting from behind the arc, the free throw line and the paint. Although Brooklyn kept up with the Heat they seemed to be unable to stop the king. Tonight’s game is critical as if the Nets do not win their hopes and dreams of winning the championship end. We look forward to the Nets to play with a lot of heart tonight and see if they can contain Lebron James and the Heat.

lets go nets

Todays game two of the second round of the playoffs between the defending champions the Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets lost game one and are looking to take revenge tonight in Miami. This is a big game for the Nets as they do not want to be in a two-zero deficit against a lethal team like Miami. They will need several players to step up and take action if they want to win tonight. Stopping Lebron James is a near impossible task for anyone in the league but with double teams and pressure the Nets may be able to contain him. We wish both teams best of luck tonight.

What a finish

We are still raving about the fantastic finish between the Portland Trailblazers and the Houston Rockets. We all thought it was over when Parsons made the go ahead layup with only one second left. Many of us even turned the television off to find out the next morning that the Trailblazers pulled off a miracle. Damian Lillard made a three pointer with less than one second left on the clock to give the Trailblazers the win and the entry into the next round of the NBA playoffs. Another great finish was Paul Pierces blocking of the Toronto Raptors player to secure Brooklyn into the next round as well. Excellent closures to the first round of the playoffs and we look forward to the next round
