The Christmas tree this year will be lighted on november 30th wednesday at the Rockefeller center new york, it will be 79th annual Christmas tree lighting. The tree will be at Rockerfeller center until Jan 6th 2012. The tree will be illuminuated from 530am to 1130 pm daily. 24 hours on christmas and on new years it will be lighted until 930 pm. Tree located on 5th ave between 47th and 50th street. Parking is not readily available in new york city by the tree. it s very crowded during the holidays.
