Christmas tree represents survivors of Sandy

In honor of those who are still recovering from the super storm, Sandy, visit the Rockefeller Center.

Just a few days ago, they lit a very special Christmas tree, a tree from New Jersey that survived the storm. It is indeed a sight worth seeing in person. We are proud to be a part of this community, offering Newark  car service even in the tough times.

Rockefeller Center chose their tree this year from Jo Balku’s home in Mount Olive NJ, an hour outside Manhattan. The 80-foot Norway Spruce is more than 50 years old and stood while trees around it fell. It is now illuminated with over 30,000 lights and is topped with a Swarovski star.

The ten-ton tree is impressive. And your visit to see the tree can be, too. Whether you are local or from out of town, you are sure to be moved by the sight and experience.
