Gridlock Alert traffic going into NYC
If you are travelling to new york city please be alert there are massive delays going into new york city, due to holidays, more than the usual holiday time due to the fact that the mass transit is still not back to its normal after hurricane Sandy. the LIRR and amtrak is still working on to bring back the service back to normal by Christmas. Path tried to restart the service into WTC but they came accross the wiring problems and yesterday at 8 am they had to suspend the services again and did not disclose when they will be able to bring it back. The equipment they are trying to repair and have working, some of it is over 80 years old.
